diversity

Although the proportion of women we employ is in line with industry norms, we are committed to increasing it. We have a host of initiatives specifically aimed at improving gender diversity across the company including our ‘Growing Together’ programme for aspiring female leaders. In 2021, we were proud to have had over 100 participants in the programme since its beginning. We have seen good growth in the number of female senior leaders across the Group, with an increase of 4.4% over the past two years.

Accelerating Female Leadership

In 2018, Computacenter launched its first-of-its-kind program to mentor and accelerate the careers of talented women within the business: Growing Together. Founded and chaired by Karen McInerney, Group Financial Controller, winner of the CRN Executive Mentor of the Year 2019, the program has been an outstanding success. Our vision is clear, we want to have a strong and confident pipeline of female talent who are empowered and equipped to play a significant role in the leadership of our business. The program focuses on networking, engagement, and education, whereby guest speakers, executive sponsors, participants, and business leaders can work together to build upon on the next generation of female leaders within our business.
