Circular Services Customer Suite

Computacenter has opened its newest customer suite at its Circular Services Center in Braintree, Essex. The new area offers visitors the opportunity to experience Computacenter’s state-of-the-art circular services capabilities complete with guided site tours, a technology product museum, and multi-functional events spaces.

Circular services is playing an ever-increasing role in customer sustainability objectives, with IT asset disposition (ITAD) being a primary concern. The new customer suite will enable visitors to learn more about the lifecycle of technology devices, and how circular services can maximise the long-term values of their IT estates.

Computacenter’s Circular Services Center extends to 355,000 sq. ft (3,251m²), facilitating the secure redeployment, resale, and recycling of IT assets. In 2022, the Circular Services team processed 1.9 million items, saving 112,000 tonnes of CO₂ and 105 million litres of water by reusing equipment.

Managing Director of Circular Services, Gerry Hackett stated: ‘At 355,000 square feet, this is the biggest site of its kind in Europe. Anyone who wants to learn more about our Circular Services should come along, see the museum and have a day with us.’

The customer suite was opened by Mike Norris on 19th June, 2023.
