Computacenter is committed to carrying out business responsibly. In accordance with the 10 core principles of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), upon which the Group bases its approach to responsible corporate behaviour, we are focused on three main areas: our people, the environment, and the wider community. In 2009, the Group published its first Communication on Progress (CoP) on the UNGC website. We have continued to provide updated progress year-on-year, which is accepted, then published in accordance with our UNGC participation status.
The UNGC is recognised by businesses worldwide for their commitment and contributions to both the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and enacting the values of the UN Global Compact at every level. Working between over 60 local networks and a worldwide framework, the UNGC helps companies build trust through transparency, promote a clear and concise sustainable agenda, and demonstrate solutions in the face of challenges faced within the business community.
