Heathrow Airport improves passenger experience with digital signage solution from Computacenter
Keeping passengers informed
To ensure it remains an airport of choice for passengers and airlines, Heathrow needs to deliver an excellent experience for around 200,000 customers every day. To safeguard customer satisfaction, it needed to replace ageing digital media screens displaying flight information.
The new screens are viewed by more than 200,000 people every day. By working with Computacenter, we were able to maximise our investment in the new displays and minimise the risks to airport operations.Bhupinder Kahlon, Infrastructure Architect for the IT Service Delivery team, Heathrow Airport Holdings
- Safeguard competitive advantage
- Improve passenger journey
- Avoid financial penalties
Passengers now have a consistent experience across terminals, meaning satisfaction ratings have increased and the company is not liable to pay compensation for low scores.
The airport partnered with Computacenter to replace screens with NEC large format displays in Terminals 3, 4 and 5. Computacenter imaged the screens in advance to help prevent deployment delays and minimise disruption to passengers.
- Consistent passenger experience
