BMW Group wanted to reduce the waiting times and costs involved in distributing new peripheral devices to its users. To do this, it needed eliminate the lengthy authorisation process.

Computacenter ran a pilot concept which involved converting a commercial vending machine similar to those used for sweets and crisps. Employees use their ID cards to obtain peripheral devices quickly and easily 24x7.
