A great piece of advice that I’ve received whilst at Computacenter is to build and nurture your network. As a project manager, you’ll never find two days the same. It’s a very varied role, so you have to consistently learn and adapt your skills to suit new situations. This is where your personal network is invaluable. You get to meet people who have different skills and others who are just cool people to hang around with.
