Computacenter's Depot and Disposition Services include end-to-end management of the depot and disposition process from inventory control and data destruction to environmentally safe equipment disposal.

Depot services include a self-service portal for end-users with a simple process for reporting issues and submitting claims for a replacement device. It features a knowledgebase for end-user-driven support, as well as ready access to Computacenter's team of help desk professionals. It also gives managers complete visibility into their team’s technology assets and claims activity. Depot services provide same-day or next-business-day replacement of lost, stolen or failed devices. The program provides support for desktops, laptops, smartphones, tablets, peripherals and infrastructure equipment.

Types of Depot services:

• Traditional: client files a claim before a pre-determined time and the configured replacement will be shipped for next day delivery. The user will ship the damaged device back and we will process through the warranty/repair process and restock for future use
• Label First: this is specifically for clients who have onsite spares (e.g. warehouse operations, etc.) but lack the resources to return the damaged device. Clients will file a claim and receive a return label via email. Once we see movement on that label (via API with the primary transportation providers in the US), we will ship a pre-configured device to replace it for next day delivery. Once we receive the device back, we process through the warranty/repair process and restock for future use
• Bulk Swap: generally geared toward clients that deem the device mission critical (e.g. healthcare clients who are using iPhones for clinical communications) and therefore require an onsite, immediate replacement. The client will swap onsite and initiate a claim for the replacements. Upon receipt, we will send a shipping label (combining multiple claims into one shipment, where possible) and they will send the hardware back to us in bulk. Upon receipt, we will process for warranty/repair process. After repair, we will image/provision the devices and send back to the customer in bulk to stock their pool onsite

Disposition services mitigate the risk of exposing organizational data left on old servers, laptops, and removable media. Our Disposition services include:

• Portal: our client portal lets clients schedule pickups. The same portal shows the progress of the assets as they make their way through the process and presents the reports and certifications as they are issued
• Secure Asset Logistics: we safely transport designated equipment to our secure and monitored configuration facility
• Data Services: we completely wipe data from resalable assets and destroy equipment that’s to be discarded leaving no recoverable data.

• Environmentally Compliant Recycling: certificates of disposal and data destruction are issued
• Resale and Reuse: options include recycle, upfront buybacks, sort and settle, and revenue share
