Objective
The Munich-based start-up Digital Charging Solutions is building a worldwide charging network for electric vehicles of the BMW brand with the Charge Now brand. What was needed was a completely new digital infrastructure, which was to be quickly available and flexibly expandable.
Solution
Based on Microsoft Office 365 and Azure Cloud Services, Computacenter developed and implemented the optimal architecture for Digital Charging Solutions within a very short timeframe. This pragmatic approach met the company’s demand for fast operational capability.
Outcome
With this cloud-only concept, Computacenter has demonstrated that young companies in particular can do without with a separate IT infrastructure, without compromising performance and can even increase security. At the same time, the costs for the services consumed are moderate and remain fully transparent.
