Forrester study of Mac TCO in enterprise — M1 update
In a study commissioned by Apple and delivered by Forrester Consulting, a range of enterprise customers was surveyed to examine the impact of offering their employees the choice of Mac. The study has now been updated to include the additional benefit of deploying Mac with the Apple M1 chip, for a new level of price–performance. The key findings are:
- Employees using Mac are more productive and require less IT support
- Mac is easier and faster to deploy
- Employee retention among Mac users is higher
The full results are now available in the Forrester publication The Total Economic Impact™ of Mac in Enterprise: M1 Update, which includes a detailed financial analysis showing that, over a three-year life cycle, there is an overall cost saving of $843* for Mac compared with a PC.
