New enterprise transformation service, Adopt the Public Cloud for AWS

London, United Kingdom, 8th June 2020 – Computacenter, today announced a new end-to-end enterprise transformation service, Adopt the Public Cloud for Amazon Web Services (AWS). The service will help organisations fast-track any move to AWS, helping them to streamline business processes and speed up innovation. This new Strategic Collaboration Agreement between Computacenter and AWS empowers customers’ shift to digital, by transferring parts of their IT estates to AWS. The service will be available immediately in the UK and Germany, and will then be rolled out to Computacenter’s other regions during the year.

Millions of customers around the globe are using AWS to speed up innovation and time to market, lower their costs, and boost innovation. Customers looking to adopt AWS need a partner who they can trust through this digital transformation. They can rely on Computacenter’s innovative portfolio of skills and solutions to enable their successful journey to the cloud.

The new Cloud service for AWS combines Computacenter’s extensive expertise as an on-premise IT services provider with the power and scope of AWS. It builds on Computacenter’s experience, particularly in highly regulated industries and complex enterprises, where security and large-scale transformations are crucial. The offering will deliver a set of services that accelerate the adoption of AWS, including business consultancy, strategic assessment, and the roadmap for change, to advise on the most appropriate and efficient way for an enterprise to migrate to AWS. It will also include additional consultancy services such as infrastructure design, build and test (to help with the deployment of new applications on AWS), and application modernisation services to support the re-hosting, re-platforming, and re-architecting of existing applications.

Alongside the modernisation of customer applications Computacenter will support their continued optimisation on AWS. This includes Infrastructure and Application Services to help lower costs while providing an optimum user experience. For enterprise organisations with VMware technology estates, the Computacenter Cloud Service will also provide expertise in VMware Cloud on AWS, to enable hybrid experiences through existing VMware on-premise environments, VMware Cloud on AWS, and AWS Outposts.

We maintain long-term relationships with our customers by offering best in class IT solutions which enable their success. We are excited about our investment in our AWS Cloud Services to ensure we maintain those relationships and help our customers achieve all the benefits that the Cloud service provides.
