From helping to compile standardised electronic RFP templates, to running the e-auction, to reducing the overall time and cost of procurement, we strive to optimise the customers’ choice and drive down price, whilst guaranteeing quality.
Benchmarking Service
Our benchmarking service provides monthly pricing data on a selection of pre-defined products and categories by getting component pricing for similar quantities and specifications. This service ensures products assessed are a like-for-like comparison. The exact product specifications, quantities purchased and standard buy prices are checked against 25,000 market sources to offer a comparison of the most competitive price within EMEA.
Services Consolidation and Platform Migration

Delivery Service
We offer a full range of delivery services, from a basic next day delivery to goods in/reception, to a guaranteed timed delivery to a specific room or desk - including the unpacking, removal and disposal of packaging, consistent with existing environmental legislation.
Asseting Service
Our asseting service caters for every customer requirement, including the application of customer-supplied labels, security tagging with data recording, etching, engraving, branding, and application of a DNA tracer solution.
Configuration Service
Computacenter offers a complete configuration service on a range of hardware platforms for desktop PCs, mobile devices, servers and enterprises. This can be from a simple hardware only build, right through to bespoke images that have been personalised to meet specific user requirements.
Build Creation Services
We will build an image for a Client Access Device (CAD) based upon an agreed design that details the technical and functional requirements of the build. A typical build consists of a base build (operating system and device drivers) and "core business" applications, which are installed and configured.
Bill and Hold Service
We offer a complete warehouse and inventory management service for all pre-paid products so customers can extend product lifecycles, take advantage of commercial terms on offer, or decrease order to receipt times for products that require asset tagging or configuration pre-despatch.
The number of Bill and Hold or customer-owned items stored at our Hatfield Operations Centre, has increased year on year for the past 5 years. The number of items processed in 2005 exceeded 350,000 with a total value in excess of £200 million.
Customer-owned equipment stored within the Centre often requires an audit to satisfy the customers' own auditors. Computacenter’s inventory team assist in all aspects of this accompanying the customer whilst they are within the Operation Centre to ensure that all of their objectives are achieved.

Computacenter's Lifetime Maintenance Support
This support enhances HP’s standard hardware manufacturer warranty on hardware procured from Computacenter, delivering guaranteed service levels and reducing support costs. Lifetime Maintenance offers cost effective multi-vendor support with fixed costs for cover over 1, 3 or 5 years.
