Non-Executive Board Appointment
Computacenter plc, the European IT infrastructure services provider, announces the appointment of Ghislain Lescuyer as a Non –Executive Director of the Company with effect from 19 January 2004. Upon his appointment, Mr Lescuyer will also become a member of the Board’s Remuneration Committee, Nominations Committee and Audit Committee.
Ghislain Lescuyer, aged 46, is currently Executive Vice President, Broadband Access Products of Thomson SA (formerly Thomson Multimedia SA). During his career, he has held a number of senior positions, primarily with a French focus, across a range of European IT based companies, including Managing Director of Europeatweb (a private equity firm focusing on Internet and high technologies), President of the Manufacturing, Smart Card and IT Services Divisions at Groupe Bull and Consultant at McKinsey & Co. He has an MBA from INSEAD and an engineering degree from l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications.
