Computacenter awarded Best Solutions Partner by Nortel Networks
Nortel Networks has named Computacenter 'Best Solutions Partner 2001' at its Partner Forum in Monaco. The Best Solutions Partner is a new category of award which recognises partners who have successfully supported Nortel Networks' evolving business focus and offered exceptional services.
The award is the climax to a 10-year strategic partnership, which is set to enter a new phase following the launch of Computacenter's unique Solutions Centre. Based in Hatfield, the Solutions Centre is the first facility in the UK to offer multi-vendor IT proof of concept and testing services in an independent environment.

One such solution involved the implementation of a data network for a global retail bank. Computacenter joined forces with Nortel's Global Professional Services division and delivered a range of services including project management, pre-staging, commissioning and installation.
