Computacenter receives ‘Daimler Supplier Award 2009’

IT service provider understands customer requirements

Kerpen, Germany, 5 May 2010. At this year’s Daimler Key supplier meeting, held 18 March in the Mercedes-Benz branch office in Stuttgart, Computacenter was presented with the coveted ‘Daimler Supplier Award 2009’ in the ‘IT, General Goods & Services’ category. The award was given in recognition of Computacenter’s outstanding performance in providing a vast array of IT services.

Computacenter has been a reliable partner of Daimler’s for many years and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of its network infrastructure. In addition to the high quality and reliability the service, a decisive factor behind the award was Computacenter focus on innovation and service improvement.

Daimler AG selects the recipients of it ‘Daimler Supplier Award’ using a worldwide standard assessment system. The review focuses on values such as quality, cost and reliability as well as technology and innovation. Teamwork assessments focus on fairness, reliability and credibility. Computacenter was one of 14 companies receiving an award this year.
