London, UK, 29 September, 2008 – The Consumables Division of Computacenter plc, Europe's leading IT infrastructure solutions provider, has today announced its participation in providing Hewlett Packard's Pay for Print Programme to customers.
The programme enables HP printers at customer office locations to automatically notify the Consumables Division at Computacenter when a cartridge is running low and in need of replacement. The correct cartridge is then automatically shipped to ensure quick transition.
This bespoke solution saves valuable time for procurement staff and ensures smooth workflow as printer down time is significantly reduced. Cartridge prices can also be fixed, thereby ensuring stability during price fluctuations in the market place.
