When ntl embarked on the development of a pioneering workforce management solution for its 2,000+ engineers, it turned to Computacenter to help roll-out the new IT infrastructure and wireless connectivity.

As a result of the project, ntl and its engineers can now communicate in real-time, which means there are less wasted visits to customers and greater flexibility for scheduling call-outs.

The efficiency gains are such that the cable and communications giant can now complete 25% more calls with the same resources. The roll-out has also helped to cut overheads and management costs.
