Adopting a managed services model for IT is a major change for any company, and can have an enormous impact on internal staff who face transferring to a new employer.

To ensure it retained critical IT skills, and reduced the risk to the business throughout the staff and service transfer, Eversheds law firm was keen to partner with a company with a proven track record in TUPE and a strong focus on employee well-being.

When Eversheds selected Computacenter Services as its new IT partner, the two companies embarked on a number of activities to help smooth the transfer of 79 staff, including road shows, the creation of a TUPE council and one-to-one staff meetings. As a result, the transformation has caused minimal disruption to IT services, and a staff retention rate of 100 per cent has been achieved.
