as part of Computacenter’s dynamic Sales Associate Programme

The Sales Associate Programme is a springboard to success within Computacenter.

More than half of our current Account Managers joined the company via the programme. Former Sales Associates have also gone on to become Client Directors and Sector Directors.

Relaunched in 2007, the programme injects new talent, ideas and skills into our sales organisation, so that we can keep growing our business and meeting the needs of our global client base.

Every year we select around half a dozen individuals to join the scheme following a rigorous and competitive selection process.

 

Discover, develop, deliver

As well as receiving a competitive employment package, Computacenter Sales Associates will gain invaluable industry and sales expertise during their 18-month tenure.

In the first six months, the programme includes:

  • Rotations with Computacenter’s sales, partner management, and services and solutions teams

  • Mentoring sessions with a dedicated Client and Sector Director

  • Participation in high-profile projects

  • Meetings with the company’s Managing Director, Group HR Director and CEO Mike Norris

Every Sales Associate is trained in essential sales skills and collaborative working techniques on an ongoing basis.

On successful completion of the programme, associates will be promoted to the role of Account Manager, working in one of our vertically-aligned sectors: government, industry and retail, retail banking, commercial and finance.

Account Managers are the face of Computacenter. They work closely with our largest and most strategic clients helping to ensure their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.

You get great exposure as a Sales Associate and have to present to various executives across the business. This is a skill that I have been able to transfer to managing my account.
