Business Unit Manager for IP Communications at Computacenter Belux

Dirk LanssensDirk Lanssens (37) joined Computacenter on 1 March 2006, and has been made responsible for the newly created IPC business unit. He comes with a wealth of experience in CISCO networking and Voice over IP solutions, having worked as consultant and project manager in companies such as NextiraOne and CSS.

He has been tasked to launch proven Computacenter IPC offerings in the Belux market – offerings which already made Computacenter Germany one of the top 3 providers in the German IPC market. Among other services, he will introduce Computacenter’s International Voice on Demand offering, which allows customers to rent IP telephony services at a fixed price per phone. This complements Computacenter’s core strategy of being the preferred managed services provider for the distributed IT environment.

Business Unit Manager for Enterprise Storage and Server Solutions at Computacenter Belux

Luc BorghomsLuc Borghoms (34) has been engaged by Computacenter on 23 March 2006, to expand the Belux enterprise storage and server business unit in partnership with leading vendors such as HP, IBM, and SUN/Storagetek. Previously, Luc Borghoms has held product marketing manager positions for enterprise solutions at Dell, HP/Compaq, and ABSI.

Within Computacenter Group across Europe, server / storage consolidation and virtualization projects have been one of the fastest growth areas in recent years. With the expansion of this business unit, the Belux operation follows the example of its sister companies, intending to build a leadership position as multi-vendor enterprise services provider.
