SWIFT the leading provider of secure global financial
messaging services, has signed a global service level contract
with Computacenter to support its internal desktop IT environment.
The agreement is for Asset Management, Request Management and Helpdesk
services, providing coverage 24 hours a day for 1,800 end-users
in Europe, Asia Pacific and the USA.
The three-year contract will see Computacenter provide a single
point of contact for all hardware and software-related support
services for SWIFT's desktop environment. The successful transition
to the new service was delivered by a team of Computacenter Business
Take On specialists implementing highly advanced desktop management
best practices in a controlled and structured manner. The service,
which went live on March 1, 2001, is led by Mark Harris who was
appointed dedicated Service Manager with global responsibility
for Service Levels and Customer Satisfaction. He brings with him
a wealth of experience in Computacenter Service Management at major
European customers.
Philippe Cornette, Head of Workplace Technology at SWIFT, feels "Our
