Computacenter PSF aligns service offering for Finance, Insurance, and non-Finance customers in the Luxembourg market.

In 2005, Computacenter PSF Luxembourg had obtained the accreditation as "operator of information systems and communication networks in the financial sector”, in accordance with the Luxembourg PSF law of August 2, 2003. To comply with the law, a new company, Computacenter Solutions, had been created to service the non-financial sector.

New legislation has been introduced in 2007 which allows Computacenter to optimise its offering and structure for the Luxembourg market. Computacenter PSF is now able to offer services to the financial and non-financial sector. For this reason, the companies have been remerged with effective date November 1, 2007.

All customers will be served by a strong PSF company which has implemented rigid governance and compliance processes. The service offering will focus on Computacenter's proven strengths in managed services: ITIL-based service desk and onsite support services. These are imbedded in a range of other IT-related services to provide a one-stop shop experience when desired. These services include:

• Procurement services for solutions from major vendors (HP, IBM, Microsoft, CISCO, VMWare, Netapp etc.)
  
• Technology integration and migration services for Microsoft and IBM/Lotus platforms
  
• Application services for unified communications and collaborative solutions
  
• Managed services. ITIL-based service desk and onsite support services.
