Job vacancy: System Engineer Application Packaging

Candidate profile

Computer Science Degree holder with 1+ years of IT experience in Desktop Support/Computer hardware and OS support/Software Installation Support/System Administration
Application packaging & repackaging experience using Wise packaging tool/Installshield for 1 - 2 years for junior role and 3 - 7 years for a senior role.
In Depth Knowledge of MSI technology
Basic Understanding of Windows Installer Technology and Application Packaging concepts
Good understanding of Desktop Operating Systems – Windows XP, Vista , Windows 7
Excellent troubleshooting skills on desktop applications working in various environments ( WIN7 , APP-V,Physical install, server file access )
Well versed with Application Installation/Removal methods
Awareness of Application Packaging and Virtualization Technologies
Basic scripting knowledge (VB Script, Batch)
Good Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
1-2 years of experience of Application Packaging on one of the tools – WISE/ InstallShield etc.
Knowledge on Win 7 Application Compatibility
Fundamental understanding of Microsoft App-V (Virtualization technology) and basic concepts related to virtualization
Certifications will be considered as an advantage (MCITP MCTS MCSE)
You have good communication skills
You speak fluently in French and Dutch and you have good command in English.
