Responsibility:
Responsible for the management of the computing infrastructure, is a part of the transverses functions in the organization within a common structure (Technology, Operations & Process Services).
As such, IT is a computing service supplier towards our businesses line. The team Wintel Support integrated into the division IT Operation Support within the department "IT service Operations"
is responsible for the installation, for the follow-up and for the monitoring of the computing infrastructure.
Within this team, the essential role of the section Performance management consists of the analysis, the
evaluation and the follow-up of the performances of the Windows servers and workstations in their
diverse uses. The cell Performance Management is on the base of a qualitative and integrated reporting
published on Intranet. This reporting is, consequently, of a priceless value for the support, for the troubleshooting…
For this, we ‘re looking for a good all-rounder system engineer capable of realizing the tasks of creations of reports as well as of participating actively in the other activities of support bound to a distributed environment (mainly the performances)
As member of the team IT Wintel Support, you are a person in charge of collect the data and information for capacity management & performance analysis of Windows systems for BeNeLux
- Centralize requests of different clients for the performance reporting on Windows platform.
- Maintain and develop in-house tool to collect required information.
- Develop and maintain an HTML interface to visualize the reporting generated by SAS/ITRM
- Proactive follow-up of windows servers and support level 3
- Document system problems and resolutions for future reference.
- Handle statistical and reporting requests and publications
- Detect and react to avoid the problems
- Analyze and resolve the problems which can arise.
Your main objectives will be:
- assure data gathering and the realization of Performance Management reporting
- develop and maintain IT reportings tools
- check the quality of the input data and assure first control of coherence of the output data to position as technical interface with the other entities
- handle the raw data from our computer infrastructure with the aim of giving friendly reports.
- operational support, day to day, is also part of your tasks.
- your versatility and your capacity of learning will allow you, if necessary occasional, to bring a help in the support 3rd level or of quite other activities bound to the domain of the performances

Requirements:
It is essential to satisfy the following conditions to make the proposed work:
A very good knowledge of the Windows world and of its tools as:
Operating systems : Windows (NT, 2000,2003, XP), Network (LAN, WAN), TCP/IP
IT security (principle, architecture)
Scripting WSH, Perl, VBScript, JavaScript, WMI, HTML-HTA, …
SAS base, SAS Graph, SAS/ITRM
A lot of Microsoft tools experience (mainly Excel)
Many years' professional experience in a very large and complex computing infrastructure ( distributed
environments)

- Be able to work in a autonomous way

- Analytical, precise, rigorous and reliable spirit as well as a good synthetic and critical spirit.
Very good knowledge of French, Dutch and English
