Computacenter Belgium is experiencing an explosive growth and therefore are we looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer.

Responsibility:
The responsibilities of this Techical Support Engineer includes:
- Operating the Help Desk Support to receive, record and track problem reports from users. This Help Desk Support covers PC hardware/software difficulties and problems encountered, including internet and network related issues
- Performing first level problem determination, troubleshooting and resolution, also referring unresolved problem to appropriate specialist group. Areas include PC hardware/software, network, telecommunications and email applications
- Operating and executing the various system jobs for various applications
- Performing the daily backups and ensure that they are stored in relevant secure storage
- Installing and configuring PC hardware/software procured and dispatch them once completed
- Maintaining the hardware and network configuration charts

Requirements:
Should possess a Diploma/Certificate in Computer Studies or STPM, preferably with + two years of experience as a PC Support Specialist (user-support by phone and onsite). Good knowledge of PC hardware and software is mandatory. Working knowledge of network equipment would be an added advantage, though not a pre-requisite as training would be provided.
