Job Description:

Computacenter Belgium is experiencing an explosive growth and therefore are we looking for an experienced Support Engineer ‘native Swedish/Danish’

The Support Engineer will be the contact for the support of the IT infrastructure and applications, he/she will ensure timely and correct support and will build up a strong customer relationship with the users.

Your primary responsibilities will be:

  • To analyse functional issues encountered by end-users and solve them in line with Service Levels Agreements.
  • To respond to users requests on system functionalities, system status, down time, procedures, installations, set-up, error messages and general services.
  • To build up and consolidate a strong relationship with users,  focusing on the highest level of customer satisfaction by working pro-actively on problem follow up.
  • To relay requests outside the scope of team competencies to appropriate groups for assistance and ensure timely follow-up.
  • To coordinate new customer implementation and modifications affecting existing customers.
  • To process ad-hoc end user maintenance database updates according to procedures and schedules.


Your Profile:

  • You have a sound knowledge of Swedish or Danish and English
  • High school degree with some of experience as a PC Support Specialist.
  • Good knowledge of PC hardware and software is mandatory
  • Customer-minded Strong listening and analytical skills Pro-active and autonomous Team player Positive-minded Multicultural approach
  • Working knowledge of network equipment would be an added advantage, though not a pre-requisite as training would be provided

Technical basic knowledge :

  • Ms Windows 2000 and XP
  • Ms Office
  • Lotus Notes

Added advantage is knowledge of :

  • Novell
  • VPN
  • Server
