Job Description :

Computacenter Belgium is experiencing an explosive growth and therefore we are looking for a Senior Presales Consultant who helps to identify and design technical infrastructure solutions.  Additionally, we offer this consultant the challenge to manage a successful implementation of the proposed solutions.

Typically, Presales Consultants have developed deep business analysis and broad technology skills that will be used in performing these tasks. They will be responsible to assist the sales team in customer meetings, translate the client's business requirements into a technical design and work with a team of product sales specialists and technology consultants to present our customers a qualititative and competitive solution.

Additionally, Presales consultants maintain a broad IT awareness and inform the sales team on market trends on a regular basis. Internally, we count on them to play an active role in a Technical Advisory Board.

Pre- Sales Assistance & Consultancy

  • Commercial :
    • Assist Sales team with Pre-Sales technical enquiries and customer opportunity / strategy meetings
    • Identify other Computacenter service and sales opportunities within customer base
  • Technical :
    • Technically manage the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions
  • Bid Management:
    • Manage the creation of technical bids, assisted by specialised product specialists and technical consultants
  • Delivery :
    • Ensure consultancy assignments are undertaken consistently within agreed Timeframe, Quality objectives and Budget.

Technology

  • Attend appropriate technical product presentations and trainings
  • Self develop technical knowledge within applicable Technology stream (Microsoft Solutions, Enterprise Storage and Virtualisation)
  • Maintain high level of technical skills and industry awareness
  • Keep up-to-date with current and future technologies, products and strategies
  • Maintain relationship with strategic vendors to ensure optimal support.

Miscellaneous

Build and enhance relationships with peers and Computacenter's sales force (Account Managers, Client Directors, Sales Specialists)

Your Profile:

Essential

  • Broad knowledge of at least 5 years in infrastructure Solutions like MS Solutions (Active Directory, Exchange, System Center,…), Storage (HP, IBM, NetApp,…), Virtualisation (VMWare, MS Softgrid,…)  
  • Good knowledge and awareness of the IT industry and current trends
  • Fluently in Dutch, French and English
  • Excellent written skills in English.
  • Good presentation, communication and negotiation skills
  • Real winner and can do mentality
  • Well organised, pragmatic/analytical and able to work in a structured way
  • Team player & result driven

Desirable

  • Further Education level qualifications
  • Technical industry Certifications (Microsoft certification , HP, IBM, …)
  • Project Management skills (Prince II)
